Digging through Old records at the local antique/Flea Market Type Place. I was flipping through musty smelling records and found a box set of extraordinary importance. A set of Peter Pan Records and Storybook telling stories from the bible.
When I was Younger I was a fan of the first bible I received at Church which was more of a Graphic Novel ( It would Be Called Today). It was hardcovered and told these fantastic stories that taught morals and had amazing art.
While Listening to these records and reading along with the book I realized these stories are pretty messed up. They all seem to be preaching Fear of GOD. Which made me laugh to myself. Fast forward a couple weeks and I was pretty inebriated off some Hurricane Malt Liquors I bought that morning after work and found myself Making a Mashup for The What Doth Life Record Store comp. of the Story of Creation track mixed with Freddie's dead (Instrumental) by Curtis Mayfield.
This is Volume one of Four featuring these Stories most of us grew up with the other tracks is me messing around with the DM1 Drum Machine App , Some Apple Loops in Garage Band and my Micro Korg/Sampler. Hope You Enjoy these Creations.
